About Me

I received the B.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) in 2007, and M.S. and M.B.A. degrees in 2014 from the School of Management, JSOM, the University of Texas at Dallas, respectively. In August 2014, I received the Ph.D. degree in Operations Management under the supervision of Prof. Metin Çakanyıldırım and Prof. Suresh P. Sethi at JSOM. I joined the Mike Cottrell College of Business in the fall of 2022 leading the newly developed Syfan Logistics Lab and logistics specializations. Prior to my current position, I was a tenured Associate Professor of SCM and Anaytics at the Black School of Business, Penn State Erie.

  • Supply Chain Risk Management

  • Empirical OM

  • More recent research interests include Healthcare OM and Supply Chain Finance
