About Me

I am a Tenured Associate Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Mike Cottrell College of Business, University of North Georgia (UNG). I lead the Syfan Logistics Lab and serve as Chair of the L-SCM Industry Advisory Board and Chair of the Task Force for the B.B.A. in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.


I received my Ph.D. in Operations Management in 2014 from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas under the supervision of Prof. Metin Çakanyıldırım and Prof. Suresh P. Sethi. I also hold M.S. in Supply Chain Management and M.B.A. degrees (Scholar of Distinction) from UT Dallas, and a B.Tech. degree in Materials Science Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK).


Prior to joining UNG in 2022, I was a tenured Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management & Analytics at the Black School of Business, Penn State Erie.

Supply Chain Risk & Resiliency
Disruption management, dual sourcing, nearshoring strategies, supply chain security (C-TPAT), and cybersecurity in logistics activities under NSA grant funding.

Revenue Management & Subscription Analytics
Choice modeling, Willingness-to-Pay (WTP), demand throttling, subscription business models (featured in Harvard Business Review and Ivey Publishing Porsche Drive cases).

AI & Data Analytics in Logistics
Integrating Generative AI, machine learning, predictive maintenance, automated material planning (IISE Award winner), and transportation management systems (McLeod TMS).
