Casey Bowman

I am currently a PhD student at the University of Georgia in the Computer Science Department. I am working with Dr. John Miller on several projects. He has enlisted my help on several occasions with writing code for ScalaTion, a library written in the programming language Scala.

I have worked on various projects, mostly spending my time working on simulation and optimization.

I have spent a lot of time working on numerical linear algebra. Specifically I have spent a lot of time coding a version of the Simplex Algorithm using the LU Decomposition of a matrix.

My latest work has been in the area of modeling and simulation, and specifically on traffic simulations.
