Outline Questions

Using the Outline Questions: Click on the link above, then click on the link to a Word version of the Outline Questions below the title on the above link. Print out the Word version (perhaps a section at a time). The Outline Questions are multi-concept short written answer versions of the single-concept multiple choice exam questions. Use this printed version to take WRITTEN notes from class. Try to answer most of the questions as you take notes. You should also use the on-line outline to help fill in the answers. Finally, you may use the optional textbook or any intro astronomy textbook to fill in anything you haven't been able to answer using your notes or the on-line outline. It is also VERY USEFUL to form a study group and compare or exchance answers at study sessions. Once you have answers to most or all of the questions for a given section (presumably before the exam on the given section), then the completed outline questions makes a very good study guide for the exam. And since you worked to get the answers for the questions already, for all practical purposes you've already studied the guide.
