Hi Linda.
Dropping you a note from my new weekday gigs here in Alpharetta.  Love the new job!  Great company with a lot of great faithful people!  I am so blessed! You have no idea (actually I know you do), what a savior the Co-op was to me while I was laid off from work.  Having the opportunity to serve others, work with such an awesome staff of people, and to have somewhere to belong during the long days of job hunting kept me grounded and thankful to God for all he has provided to me and my family.   And working as an interviewer required me to step WAY outside of my comfort zone when it came to praying out loud with strangers.  I was always good with formatted dinner prayers (God is good, God is great…) but asking strangers what we could pray together about and then actually doing it is another story.  I loved meeting the clients and helping them as best I could.   It is funny, many of the cost cutting strategies and tactics I put in place for my family budget as a result of losing my job and then my severance I was able to help the clients.  I helped a client lower her Charter Internet cost by $50 per month as I had been all over Charter just a month before to reduce my own costs and found a great unadvertised Internet plan.  And seeing God at work, like the day the personal items just arrived when there was not a thing on the shelves and the overwhelming amounts of donations in the worst of economic times.  I have grown so much personally and most importantly spiritually because of the Co-op. It was my hope to say everyone’s name that I have grown so fond over my time there but I am afraid to leave someone out that I will keep this generic.  You people ROCK! I also don’t want you to think that I am done at the Co-op.  This is the beginning of my second week here.  It is my hope to begin (probably next week) on Monday nights to work and on Saturday mornings when I am not all over the place with my daughter at Softball tournaments until mid-summer.  You, the great staff of people, the clients, and the experience saved me and have helped me grow.  I appreciate you all so much. Feel free to share this note.
Doing my best to serve and follow God,
