     Below, we identify a number of Web sites, documents, PowerPoint presentations, etc., that contain guidance and advice about finding research resources for political science and writing research reports.  In each case, the faculty members who agree with the content of the resource are indicated with check marks.

     The resources and advice on this Web page do not replace or override instructions that the instructor of your particular course conveys to you through the syllabus, D2L content, class announcements and presentations, etc.  Always follow your instructor's instructions about how to conduct research and write research documents for his or her class.

The following five books are on reserve as “Political Science” reserve books at the Library Technology Center on the Dahlonega campus:

Available at all libraries is this classic book about writing compositions:

  • Strunk, William Jr., and White, E. B.  (Any reasonably recent edition.)  The Elements of Style.
